NBI IT


If you have just begun using the IT services at NBI. Please read the welcome letter. Conveniently linked above. Do also read the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), before using any services or the network.
If you have problems with IT at NBI please check the list of known issues below and consult the IT Services in the handbook.

Please limit all visits to critical business. Use email or chat if at all possible. Items can be picked up from the office.

IT support will be handled from the new mattermost chat server: mattermost.nbi.ku.dk. It can also be used for your group communication, by creating a dedicated team. Check the handbook for the registration link.

You are welcome to pass by Jagtvej 115 A - NBB 02.3.H.102 for general support or help buying equipment during office hours. You are always welcome to write an email to IT support at all hours.

Outside the office is a self service bookcase with keyboards, cables and adapters. You may help yourself to something you need. When you no longer need an item please leave it in the bookcase, so others may benefit. If it is not there, we do not have the item, and you must purchase one.

If you do not find a solution to your problem in the IT Handbook you are welcome to contact NBI IT <it-support@nbi.ku.dk>.

Please respect the office hours. Most IT staff also have other obligations to research projects or external partners. Staff may also be sharing an office. Regular visits can therefore be very disruptive. Please do not call the IT department, unless it is urgent. Instead write an email, so that the issue can be tracked. Please do not email staff individually for the same reason.
